Program Outline:

All 7-12th grade Climax-Shelly and Fisher School students are invited to join our Knights Esports team! Esports is a competitive online gaming platform that allows competitors to compete locally, regionally, and nationally. Moreover, it involves students in the school community, promotes STEM concepts and builds teamwork skills. Our program will join Fenworks, the leading esports league in our area, and encourage duel participation!

Expectations:

All participants are held to the same standards as all other extracurricular activities, which includes all expectations set forth by MSHSL, Fenworks, and each school district. Additionally, they will pay the activities fee set by each school district.

Season:

E-Sports will compete during the winter season, meaning competitions will occur weekly between November and March. There will also be a Spring Club Season.

The first practice will be on Monday, November 3rd, 2025. Practices will be held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. Participants will attend most practices and events remotely from home. When the opportunities arise to participate in person, they will be coordinated in advance. Fenworks and the team managers will coordinate competitions.

Gaming Platforms:

All participants will use their equipment for practices and competitions. The games are free and many can be played cross-platform. Gaming laptops are available for use at Fisher School if requested.
